Heike Artworks

Upfront I'm going to tell you this one has a number of production paste-ups:(as you can see in the third photo) the cars, the popcorn (which were resized on a copier printed out and pasted before scanning--this was in the days before I could convince Mark that resizing could be done on the computer) and the art on the movie screen are all pasted up, but it is the original art used for the cover and Garganta herself is all there. !!X17 with paste-ups off the page! This is based on a rough by Stephanie Heike and pencilled and inked by Mark G. Heike. A really fun piece!

To Clarify (since we keep getting asked) Garganta and the soda are on the paper. The cars are completely pasted up (no image on the original board), the image inside the movie screen is pasted up. The popcorn is ON the bristol, BUT it has a resized image of the popcorn pasted up over it (which is stupid and I could have resized it digitally, but it took me YEARS to convince Mark out of his old paste-up habits!)
